Summer is almost here! (June 22) ((feels like it already))

So I went to the beach the other week, before all this heat made its way to Mississippi. It was gorgeous! There were clear, blue skies and people were bringing their little toddlers down to splash around. You can definitely tell that this beach season is going to be grand! Hopefully, the government will get that oil spill cleaned up in time for us to continue to enjoy Orange Beach, AL.

I was watching the Jay Leno show last night. They were ragging on the President so badly about not showing enough "emotion" when he was interviewed about the oil spill. Way to divert attention from the disaster to a man's facial expressions!

As interesting as I am, I know you probably want to see some latest photos! Here's some shots the crew took at a "special spot." Whatcha think?

P.S. Some food for thought!!

  1. Can a hearse carrying a corpse drive in the car-pool lane?
  2. Can you cry under water?
  3. If a man alone in the woods said something would a woman still say he was wrong?
  4. Can Bald people have Hairline fractures?
  5. What's the difference between a novel and a book?
  6. How old are you before it can be said you died of old age?
  7. If nobody buys a ticket to a movie do they still show it?
  8. If someone owns a piece of land, do they own it all the way to the center of the earth?
  9. If you have a cold hot pocket, is it just a pocket?
  10. If humans evolved from monkey's/apes, why are they still here?

Summer's Just Around the Corner

Around this time every year, all I hear about are about students cramping for finals... This year, I've also been hearing about my personal friends getting engaged and married as well. What is it about this year that makes getting married so popular? It must be something carried in the air!!

I Just did some pictures at "A Bridal Affair" here in Hattiesburg, MS. I think it turned out really good. We had a good number show up and mingle. My assistants Jacqlyn, Erin, and Carlie was there to help out with setting up and manning the booth. Thanks girls!

I'll put some pictures up soon!

Egging Easter On!!!

I can't believe we're getting a baby lamb in the studio soon! Usually Mrs. Theresa brings in either ducks or bunnies, but she decided to be a bit more individual this year! It's so tiny and cute! I can't wait for it to arrive.

I went digging through last year's photos in order to get into the Easter spirit, and look at the adorable pictures I found! I like the ducks better! Which pet do you like? Bunny, duck, or lamb? Let me know!!

P.S. Check out our promotional page! It's up and we have our Easter special on there now!!

#1 Mom & Dad!

Making Memories

It's so amazing how little girls and boys go from taking their first step, to graduating from high school. Then they get married and move out. Soon they're starting a family of their own. That's what we're here for, to capture milestones and help create longlasting memories.

I guess that's why I have a zillion photos in shoeboxes. I remember going through my mother's black&whites and sepia toned pictures. There's one of her in her wedding gown that takes my breath away. She's sitting at the bottom of a grand staircase, with a old fashioned dress and lace gloves. Eventually, I want to show my grandchildren what I wore, and how i styled myself at their age. It'd be a great connection from past to future, don't you think? I love traditions so much!

Winter Wonderlands

Awwwwww....

Mmmm.. Watcha say!

It was a busy, busy weekend for all of us here at Frey Photography. I got into a pledge group at USM, but I don't think I'm allowed to say which one, so yay me!!

I noticed, by the way, everyone is really frantic over the current health bill. Either you're completely for it, or utterly against it! It's definitely not a great way to unite the country, that's for sure!

Mrs. Theresa got some more pictures from a cute family Saturday. Honestly, she works so much! At least she hits the beach way more than I do. She deserves it!
